Happy New year
It's been a hectic December. But it was good. I spent a lot of time shopping, going to Christmas events and visiting friends and working. The best part was going to Sonya and Gary's house for Christmas. We left for Kamloops on Dec. 23rd and came home on the 28th. Thank you Sonya and Gary for the hospitality and all the fun we had. Of course we ate way too much. On the 29th our friends Frank and Barb took us out for brunch to Smitty's. Yesterday I went back to work after having off ten glorious days. After Church today we went to Tim Hortons and came home and I spent the afternoon taking down the tree and decorations. Yesterday when I came home from work George and I went to Future Shop and bought a new television, including speakers, and all the other wonderful gadgets that come with it. Tomorrow George will attempt to get it all put together when I'm at work. Also for supper tonight I made a big batch of New years cookies (Portzelky). After supper George brought a plateful to Kevin, our neighbour, and then George and I walked down the street to our other neighbours, Nick and Marie and brought them some. Their daughter Nicki who is eleven knitted both Barb and I each a beautiful scarf. George and I stayed home and watched a DVD which I got for Christmas."The Notebook". I get very weepy watching this movie. I didn't think George would like it, but he actually really liked it. I don't think I will wait for midnight. I feel tired and ready to go to bed. I wish you all a very Blessed and healthy New Year.
