halloween

This year Barb bought the halloween treats. She must have bought enough for 150 kids. Then 9 kids show up at the door. They were all suckers and I'm not a big fan of suckers. At my work, the manager told me the bag had 90 treats. (good ones too) and she told me to be generaous at the door. Well I was working with my friend Mary who is my age. She loves O Henry bars a lot. So when kids came to the door we gave them the glossette raisins. She also likes peanuts so we kept them for ourselves as well. There were 40 kids. She said
we probably should treat ourselves so I ate 3 and thought she had too. Later she confessed when I was busy she had eaten two more. When it was time to go home she said we better each take some treats home so the manager would think we had been generous with the kids.Being a good team player I took some(not telling how many) home. YUMMY! This afternoon Barb and I went to the Rancho for the hospitals auxillary tea and craft sale. We met my friend Ruth Dick there. I bought myself some pink knitted slippers. After supper Barb and George went to Walmart and when they came back George handed me this big orange box and said he bought me a present. I couldn't believe it. He bought me a box of 70 halloween treats, mostly chocolate bars. They were cheap apparently. So I will probably be on a sugar high for awhile. I have to get ready for night shift now. I just had 3 chocolate bars and a cup of hot chocolate milk. I think I'm ready for a ten hour shift. Till next time.
