The ups and downs of the week
I'm really glad the week is over. Wouldn't it be good if you erase a week? I wrote my medication test at work and it was so difficult that I don't even want to get the results back. I studied so hard but the questions were worded in such a confusing manner. Then I asked my manager why she wasn't trying to fill my Dec. 26th vacation and she said we have no casuals and I have to look for my own replacement. But in the meantime she is going to Australia for the whole month of November leaving me in charge of all the scheduling!!!!I was so frustrated. Then I came home and found the dishwasher had literally died. Yup it refuses to even fill up with water. The day after that I woke up with a doozer of a head cold which I still have. Since there are no casuals I had to go and put in my 8 hour shift on Friday. By Friday evening I was so sick at work and phoned around and thankfully a regular staff person felt sorry for me and said they would do my Saturday shift. Thank you Krista. On Friday morning we went out and purchased a new dishwasher but it is not coming until this Thursday. Thank you God. Today I stayed home from Church because I can't breathe through my nose. The nice thing is the weather has been absolutely gorgeous. I have one day to get well because tomorrow I have to go back to work. I am thankful for my family. George and Barb have been pitching in and cleaning the house from top to bottom. Thank you George and Barb. I will try to just relax and rest today. I wish you all a good week filled with special blessings.

Man! What a crummy week! I hope you're feeling better soon. I've been under the weather for over a week now and I'm just so tired of it. Too bad we don't live closer to each other...misery loves company! :)

I wish you lived closer too. We could have a coffee time together and feel sorry for each other together. I hope you feel better soon too.
