summary of my week

It's been a good week and a tiring one. Last Friday morning after I got home from the second nite shift in a row we left for Kamloops. It seemed like a very long trip. We got to Sonya's around two o"clock and dropped off all our stuff and kept drving to Falkland where George's sister Hertha and her husband live. His sister Elsie had come down from Winnipeg which was a nice surprise. George's sister Trudy and her husband(partner arrived from Kelowna. We had a great turkey dinner with all the trimmings. After an exhausting visit we went back to Sonya and Gary's for night. Saturday we celebrated Cam's birthday and she got to choose her place for lunch. She chose "Arby's" which made George very happy. We all had fun. We had a nice supper of tacos at Sonya's and prepared for the next day. When it was dark we had a rousing red neck game of hide and seek in the house. This consists of very loud music and no lights on. This goes on for about an hour. What a way to release tension and energy. Great fun. Sunday we all went to Church. What a wonderful service. The holy Spirit was really moving so Pastor Len did not preach his sermon. We all went to Mark and Shirley's (Gary's parents) for lunch . After a great turkey meal and visit, some of us chose to go down to the river. It was a pleasant sunny afternoon and the girls were so excited about finding dead salmon along the riverbank. Roxy too was frolicking on the dry riverbank. Monday we relaxed and tuesday back to Kelowna for lunch with the Schellenberg clan. Tuesday evening we drove home and found our neighbor's house had been broken into. Welcome back Marge to your neighbourhood!. Wednesday nite I went to work again on nite shift. Friday afternoon George's sister Elsie and her son Ed from Winnigpeg drove down for a visit. We all drove to Richmond in the evening to visit our sister in law Gretchen. Saturday morning it was off to IHOP for a big breakfast beforethey headed back. Now I have to study for a really difficult med test given by the Fraser Valley Health this coming Wed. morning. I would appreciate all of your prayers because I'm having a difficult time studying and need to get 80%. I'll let you know the outcome. It's raining here today and I'm getting very sleepy. I hope you all have a good week.

I don't know why, but I feel more tired reading about your trip than actually living some of it with you! lol Glad you got to see some more of Aunt Elsie. And don't worry about your med test. You'll do great...you always do! :)
