Walmart

Well I ventured out to Walmart with Barb last night. I hadn't been there since the end of November They had all these chocolates on the shelves and they looked like the Christmas chocolates. They had signs up everywhere saying "these are not on sale". What's with that? I figure they are trying to sell them for valentines but we all know those are the leftover Christmas chocolates. After we were finished shopping for our cold remedies we went into McDonalds for a treat. Barb had a hot fudge sundae and I had a medium hot chocolate and small fries. I asked the girl at the counter where they get their fries. She said she didn't know. Then I asked the guy behind her and he just smiled. I asked if they were McCains. He said they came from Australia. Yeh whatever! I told him about our experiment at home with the fries. We took two deep fried fries and two raw fries and set them aside for 3 weeks. Strange they kept their original colour, no mold, nothing. I asked him what he thought about that. He said it's probably the 20 chemicals in them and laughed. All I know is they really tasted good. We weren't even out of there yet and they removed all the chairs. I asked them if they were already going to wash the floor and he said yes. I think personally he was glad when this very nosy older woman left. I plan to get to the bottom of this even if I have to wait for the delivery truck to come to McDonalds in Clearbrook. After all I can walk there. You probably think I have nothing better to do. Oh I have but I'm on a mission.LOL. Well I better go and think of what I'm making for lunch. George's nephew Peter is coming with his new girl friend who he informed me is Chinese. They are bringing his two kids and her son and then they are all going to fun castle. Since it's my day off maybe we can go too. Have a great day.

If anyone can get to the bottom of the fry mystery it's Super Sleuth Marge! :)

Hope you have a nice lunch with Peter and his gang. I'm looking forward to hearing all about it!
