A lot to be thankful for

I haven't written for awhile. I have bronchitis and seem to get very tired, causing me to sleep more than usual. Today I actually got dressed and made the bed before 10 am. Yesterday I slept most of the day. Today the mailman brought a nice surprise. Thank you Sonya for the cheque. I love surprises. The sun is trying to shine today and I don't need to go to work. Those are two things to be thankful for. Yesterday morning I was not in Church, but as I looked out my kitchen window, I saw the first robin this year and it was finding worms in our lawn. I looked across the street and saw some crocuses blooming. Surely spring is just around the corner. Another thing to be thankful for. Winter doesn't go on forever. I've lost my appetite. Another thing to be thankful for. That means I should lose a few pounds. I'm also very thankful for my family. They bring me much joy. I don't know what I would do without a single one of them. Always remember that your family is your treasure, a gift from God. Have yourself a beautiful day and God bless you.

Hey mom, I'm glad you are getting LOTS of rest :) I'm going to make sure that you relax and stay off your feet and get the rest that you need. I'm glad we both had good "mail" days today :) I love good mail!

I'm glad to hear that you're perking up a bit. A robin and a crocus?? Sure signs of spring. I'm so jealous. Nothing of that nature up here...trust me. I roamed around my little yard the other day desperately searching for signs of life amongst my sleeping strawberries and raspberries. But so far I've got zilch. Soon, though. :)
